Over 50% of Americans do not visit the dentist regularly and this is highly in part due to the expensive costs of dental care. Luckily, Comfort Dental strives to provide affordable and quality dental care to populations all over Denver and now in Albuquerque as well.
Comfort Dental is giving a wonderful early Christmas present to families in need this Christmas Eve, December 24th. Their office on Menaul, just two blocks west of San Pedro is offering 100% free dental care to low-income families. The doors open at 7:30 am and the free offer extends to noon. Walk-ins are welcome, just be aware that it is first-come, first-serve and there will more than likely be a long waiting time. Both adults and children are more than welcome to arrive as it is a family-friendly environment.
Albuquerque has one of the highest rates of uninsured children and adults in the nation. Those who are not insured have very little choice on where they can obtain free dental care in Albuquerque. One option is the First Choice clinics but these tend to have a long waiting list and you have to get there really early. Those who qualify for Medicaid have a difficult time researching and finding a quality dental office that takes Medicaid. The free dental clinics are quite popular and can get filled pretty quickly.
While it is likely that Comfort Dental may have a long waiting list during their promotion, it at least gives families another option for free dental care, especially for those living nearby without transportation. Well, I want to say it was about 5 years ago, I was referred to Prime Dental Group. I walked in there needing a TON of work.
